Durable Enclosures LLC was founded by Eddie Ruiz, an industry veteran whose career in the handhole business stretches back to 1992. Over more than three decades, Eddie helped build and grow several of the industry’s most respected suppliers, ultimately culminating in the successful sale of his previous company, Duravault LLC.

After fulfilling his non-compete obligations, Eddie returned to the market with a clear vision: to build something better. Not just a product line, but a company with the manufacturing infrastructure, quality standards, and industry relationships to truly serve the people who build and maintain America’s underground utility networks.

The result is Durable Enclosures — a company grounded in experience, investment, and an unwavering commitment to getting it right.

14 Acres. One Purpose.

Our manufacturing facility in Jacksboro, North Texas, spans 14 acres and is purpose-built for high-volume enclosure production. We manufacture using two proven material platforms — polymer concrete and fiberglass — each requiring distinct processes, tooling, and quality controls.

By keeping production fully in-house, we maintain direct oversight of every step: from raw material intake to final assembly and quality inspection. This means fewer supply chain dependencies, tighter tolerances, and faster lead times for our customers.
